Job Summary

Perform in-process inspections during composite lay-up, curing, bonding, machining, and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with drawings, work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor critical process parameters and maintain material traceability.
- Raise and manage NCRs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support First Article Inspections (FAI), audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of composite manufacturing processes (prepreg, wet lay-up, RTM, autoclave curing).
- Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GDT.
- Knowledge of quality tools (8D, SPC, FMEA).
- Positive communication and documentation skills.
- Aerospace or advanced composites manufacturing experience.
