We are launching a brand-recent division dedicated entirely to global expansion, and we are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Export Manager to build and lead our outward trade operations from the ground up. In this foundational role, you will be responsible for sourcing and vetting top-tier manufacturing vendors within India to supply international markets, establishing global distribution channels, and driving our export revenue.
Please note: This role is strictly focused on export operations with no involvement in import activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Sourcing & Supply Chain Development (India):
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable manufacturing partners and suppliers across India who can produce goods meeting international quality, safety, and regulatory standards for export.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and favorable supply contracts with Indian vendors.
- Implement rigorous quality control and factory auditing processes to ensure products are export-ready.
- Export Strategy & Division Setup:
- Design and execute the strategic roadmap for the new export division, including target market selection and international market entry strategies.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) exclusively for outward international shipping, logistics, and documentation.
- Global Sales & Market Expansion:
- Drive international sales by prospecting global buyers, distributors, agents, and B2B clients.
- Establish export pricing strategies that ensure global competitiveness while maximizing division profitability.
- Logistics & Regulatory Compliance:
- Manage end-to-end outbound export logistics, coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and port authorities in India.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Indian export regulations, customs procedures, DGFT guidelines, export incentives, and destination country import/compliance requirements (including Incoterms 2020 and IEC codes).
