Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to handle the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our Bata showroom in Muvattupuzha.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily sales, purchase, cash, and expense records.
- Prepare and verify customer bills, invoices, and accounting vouchers.
- Handle daily cash collection and showroom cash closing.
- Reconcile cash, bank, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
- Maintain proper records of sales returns, discounts, and credit/debit transactions.
- Record purchase invoices and supplier transactions.
- Monitor showroom stock-related accounting entries and coordinate with the store team.
- Maintain accounts using Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and accounting reports.
- Verify expenses, petty cash, and supporting documents.
- Assist with GST-related records and statutory compliance.




- Reconcile ledger and bank accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the showroom manager and head office finance/accounts team.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate and confidential financial records.
- Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in accounting, retail, showroom, or billing operations preferred.
- Knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, GST, billing, and reconciliation.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

1–3 years of accounting/retail experience preferred. Freshers with solid accounting knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
