Position Overview

We are seeking a senior, experienced, and highly capable professional to lead the company's Legal Affairs, Government Relations, Political Liaisoning, Regulatory Approvals, and Recent Project Development activities.

The person will act as a key interface between the company and government departments, regulatory authorities, statutory bodies, public institutions, and other relevant stakeholders, while also taking overall responsibility for coordinating the company's new projects from the initial planning and approval stage through execution.

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of legal and regulatory matters, excellent government liaisoning and stakeholder-management skills, strong project coordination capabilities, and the ability to work closely with senior management to achieve strategic business objectives.





Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Affairs & Legal Risk Management
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day legal affairs of the company.
- Provide legal advice to the Managing Director, CEO, and senior management on business and project-related matters.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts, agreements, MOUs, leases, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and law firms.
- Manage litigation, arbitration, legal notices, disputes, claims, and other legal proceedings.
- Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all business activities and projects comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

2. Government Relations & Liaisoning
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant Central Government, State Government, local government departments, regulatory author
