Role & responsibilities
- Analyze RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Estimate costs for machining, sheet metal, welding, assembly, and surface treatment processes.
- Develop manufacturing process flow, setups, operations, tooling, and cycle time estimation.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; for process planning and costing.
- Coordinate with suppliers for outsourced processes like EDM, grinding, coating, anodizing, plating, and heat treatment.
- Support process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
- Knowledge of Machining, Sheet Metal, Welding, Assembly & Surface Treatment
- Solid understanding of GD&T; and manufacturing drawings
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA & MS Office
- Knowledge of aerospace materials: Aluminium, Titanium, SS, Inconel & Composites
