About the Role

Khodays is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Procurement Executive
to support procurement activities for our manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The role will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for uninterrupted factory operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
industrial procurement, vendor management, purchase coordination, and inventory planning
, preferably within a manufacturing or factory setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for the factory, from
purchase requisition to purchase order and delivery
.
- Source and evaluate vendors for
raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, engineering items, spares, and other factory requirements
.
- Obtain quotations, compare commercial terms, negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain a reliable
vendor network
and identify new suppliers as required.
- Coordinate closely with




Production, Stores, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other departments
to understand and fulfil material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid
production delays or material shortages
.
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor documentation, quotations, purchase orders, and related reports.
- Assist in
vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, and cost optimisation
.
- Track market prices and identify opportunities for
cost savings and improved procurement efficiency
.
- Coordinate with Stores and Finance for
GRN, invoice verification, and payment-related documentation
.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved vendors, quality requirements, and internal processes.
- Support periodic
procurement MIS and reporting
for management.
