Key Responsibilities

· Lead and supervise the accounting team while actively handling day-to-day accounting operations.

· Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and accounting entries.

· Manage and oversee all accounting transactions in Zoho Books.

· Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounts, and ledger balances.

· Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure completion within timelines.

· Follow up with the team for pending activities and resolve operational issues.

· Verify the accuracy of accounting records and transactions processed by team members.

· Maintain proper accounting documentation and ensure records are updated and organized.

· Prepare and review MIS reports, reconciliations, and financial summaries for management.

· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, auditors, and consultants as required.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.





· Train and support junior team members to improve productivity and accuracy.

· Identify process improvements and implement best practices within the accounting function.

· Ability to perform both operational accounting work and supervisory responsibilities effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

· B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

· Robust hands-on experience in Zoho Books, Tally, and other accounting software.

· Well-versed in Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and reporting.

· Sound knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

· Experience in leading or coordinating a small accounting team while managing individual deliverables.

· Strong follow-up, task management, and team coordination skills.

· Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting operations.
