The Manager - Network plans, directs, and coordinates the operations and architecture of network infrastructure to ensure the availability of the organizations IT assets. A critical function of this role is to define strategy, support organizational growth, and manage business and operational requirements/expectations. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to maximize the quality of implementations and support. Manages the implementation of new technologies and looks for opportunities to optimize existing infrastructure to improve services delivered to end users and clients across the company. Will have a specific operational focus on metrics and infrastructure performance and availability via solid network architecture best practices to scale and meet agile business needs. Will also direct the work of a team of operational engineers and architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.
- Prior hands-on experience in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry.
- Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert), Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent.
- Exposure to multi-vendor network environments and hybrid cloud networking is an advantage.
- Monitor network performance and security using advanced tools such as SIEM, ZTNA, and SASE, proactively identifying and resolving vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Engage in regular security audits and risk assessments to strengthen the organizations cyber resilience.
