Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs for mainframe applications using CICS transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop JCL jobs to automate data processing tasks and ensure productive system performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mainframe systems, including debugging errors and optimizing code.
Job Requirements :
- 9-12 years of experience in mainframe development using COBOL programming language.
- Strong understanding of CICS transactions and ability to design complex database queries.
- Proficiency in developing JCL jobs for batch processing on IBM Mainframes (AS400).
- Experience working with IT services & consulting companies.
