Subfamily Description
Global Accounting (GAC) comprises global end-to-end accounting processes with high quality, timeliness, and continuous efficiency improvement. Covers processing of accounting transactions to ensure accurate reporting in accordance to Nokia's accounting and reporting principles and local statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, and disposals, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between the fixed asset sub-ledger and general ledger, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.
- Prepare, review,
and post accurate journal entries related to fixed assets, depreciation, asset additions, retirements, and adjustments.
- Support internal and external financial reporting requirements by preparing fixed asset schedules, disclosures, audit documentation, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance requirements while supporting internal and external audit activities.
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for key financial metrics, including fixed assets, P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, capital expenditure, and departmental spend analysis.
- Utilize AI-driven tools and analytics to support predictive financial modeling, forecasting, anomaly detection, fraud prevention, expense analysis, and identification of unusual transactions.
