Role & responsibilities:

We operate multiple D2C ecommerce brands selling in India and international markets. We are hiring one General Manager to run the entire operation and answer directly to the founder nobody else.

The founder sets direction and controls the money. You run everything under that: the team, the targets, the systems, and the decisions. If the founder disappears for two weeks, revenue does not.
- Own day-to-day command of a 5-person team — media buying, CRO, design, development, and video — and be the standard they answer to
• Run the operating rhythm: daily standups, weekly targets, monthly reviews. Every task has an owner and a deadline in ClickUp, every conversation lives in Slack, and nothing slips because you are on it
• Hold people accountable properly — clear expectations, direct feedback, rapid course-correction. You are respected, not avoided
• Make the operational calls yourself: what gets prioritised, what gets killed, who does what. Bring the founder decisions and numbers, not problems and stories
• Review performance across the brands — revenue, ROAS,



conversion rate, margins — and act on what the numbers say
• Build the systems and SOPs so the machine runs the same whether you are watching or not
• Hire, level up, or replace team members as the brands grow

Preferred candidate profile:
- 6–12 years in ecommerce / D2C, with real command experience — you have run teams and owned numbers, not just "coordinated projects"
• You know every seat at the table well enough that nobody can hide behind jargon — media buying, CRO, creative, and store operations
• Expert-level command of ClickUp (or Asana/Monday) and Slack — you run companies through systems, not WhatsApp reminders
• A track record you can state in numbers: team size you managed, revenue you were responsible for, what grew under you
• Decisive under pressure. You make the call, own the outcome, and never need to be followed up with
• Direct communicator in fluent English
