We are looking for a Dynamic, organized, and student-friendly School Librarian to manage and develop our school library into an engaging learning and knowledge resource for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library.
- Organize, catalogue, and maintain books, journals, digital resources, and reference materials.
- Assist students and teachers in locating appropriate books and learning resources.
- Encourage students to develop regular reading habits through engaging library activities.
- Maintain accurate records of books, issues, returns, and new acquisitions.
- Recommend and procure relevant books and educational resources.
- Conduct reading programs, book clubs, storytelling sessions, and other library activities.
- Ensure the library remains clean, well-organized, welcoming, and student-friendly.
- Support teachers and students with research and academic resource requirements.




- Implement and maintain an productive library management system.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Library & Information Science (BLIS/MLIS) or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience as a School Librarian will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Comfortable working with students and school staff.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with digital library resources.
- Passion for books, reading, and creating a positive learning environment.
