Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation & Quantity Surveyor to handle quantity take-offs, cost estimation, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, tendering, billing, and cost control for construction projects.

The candidate should have good knowledge of construction materials, specifications, drawings, estimation procedures, and market rates, along with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on architectural, structural, MEP, and other project drawings.
- Conduct accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontract works.
- Perform rate analysis and prepare item-wise costing.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Prepare and evaluate tender quotations and comparative statements.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and scope clarification.
- Monitor material rates and maintain updated rate databases.
- Prepare client bills, subcontractor bills, RA bills, and measurement sheets.
- Verify quantities executed at site against approved drawings and BOQs.
- Track project costs and identify variations, additional works, and potential cost overruns.
- Prepare variation statements and additional work estimates.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, architects, consultants, and procurement teams.
- Assist in contract administration and commercial negotiations.




- Maintain proper documentation of estimates, BOQs, quotations, purchase orders, and bills.
- Conduct site visits whenever required to verify measurements and project requirements.
- Support management in budgeting, cost control, and project profitability analysis.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of construction estimation and quantity surveying.
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Knowledge of rate analysis and construction material pricing.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of construction materials, labour rates, and methods.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other estimation software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Valuable documentation and reporting skills.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

- Diploma or certification in Quantity Surveying will be an added advantage.
- Experience2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, civil, interiors, contracting, or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates with experience in residential/commercial construction, interiors, or turnkey projects will be preferred.
- Key Performance Areas (KPI)Accuracy of quantity take-offs and estimates.
- Timely preparation of BOQs and tenders.
- Cost-saving and cost-control measures.
- Accuracy of project and subcontractor billing.
- Effective management of variations and additional works.
- Timely completion of estimation and commercial activities.
- Maintaining accurate project cost records.

Salary₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and skill level.

Immediate joiners and candidates with strong estimation/BOQ experience will be preferred.
