- A. During OT / Surgery
- 1. Check all required blood reports before starting the procedure. Take the patient's consent, finalize/draw the hairline, administer anaesthesia as required, and monitor BP and other vital signs throughout the procedure.
- 2. Give the patient regular breaks during the surgery, especially during a long procedure.
- 3. Frequently ask the patient about pain, discomfort or any other concern and monitor blood pressure at appropriate intervals.
- 4. Closely monitor the patient throughout the procedure for:
- Blood pressure
- Sensitivity/allergic reactions
- Bleeding
- Hypertension
- Hypotension
- Hypoglycaemia
- Hyperglycaemia
- Any other abnormal signs or complications
- . The doctor should remain informed about the quality and condition of the grafts, overall surgical process, patient's condition, and feedback from the technicians after completion of the surgery.
- 5. The patient should feel that the entire surgical process is properly organized and supervised by the doctor.



The doctor should take overall responsibility for ensuring that the procedure is conducted smoothly and safely.

- B. During OPD / Consultation
- 1. During consultation, listen carefully to the patient and understand their concerns. Explain the available treatment options confidently and clearly.
- 2. Do not get irritated, frustrated or demotivated when patients ask repeated questions, including questions regarding guarantees, results, complications or outcomes. Respond professionally and patiently.
- 3. If the patient asks about who will perform the procedure, explain the doctor's role and the supporting team's role clearly. For example:
- “I will perform the hairline planning, slit creation and extraction, while implantation will be carried out with the support of the trained team.”
- 4. When starting skin treatments, take appropriate photographs and share them with the concerned senior doctor as per clinic protocol for guidance regarding treatment parameters.
