*Nature Progress Brain Health* is an Open Access journal, publishing high-quality research, reviews and commentary in all areas of brain health research. Research papers published by the journal represent important findings that provide new mechanistic, translational or clinical insight in rapidly advancing fields related to brain health and brain-related disorders. We re seeking an editor with a critical eye, a deep understanding of their subject and interests beyond, and who can think on their feet.



We are open to candidates from all areas of clinical and translational neuroscience but are especially interested in candidates with experience in neuroimaging and/or machine learning applications in neurology. A large part of the role will be working alongside the journal s Editorial Board.
Role responsibilities
- Handling original research papers and working closely with other editors on all aspects of the editorial process, including manuscript selection and overseeing peer review - Manuscript Assessment, Critical Scientific Evaluation, Decision Quality, Publishing Workflows Systems, Scientific Academic Writing.
- Making well-reasoned editorial decisions on submitted manuscripts in the light of expert advice.
- Determining the representation of their subject in the journal.
- Liaising extensively with editors at other journals in the Nature family and with experts in the international scientific community - Collaboration, Scientific Comprehension.
