Shift Incharge
- Location: Dahej, Gujarat
- Reporting to: Production Manager
- Experience: 8–15 years
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering
- Industry: Chemical / Petrochemical / Specialty Chemicals
- Process: Batch Manufacturing / Production Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Manage shift production against SHE, quality, OEE, production and customer targets.
- Monitor deviations, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Handle emergency situations and coordinate with HSE, regulatory bodies and emergency services.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of multi-skilled technicians/operators.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, SOPs, work permits and operational standards.
- Manage complex production processes, troubleshoot operational issues and take independent decisions during shifts.
- Lead cross-functional teams involving Production, Quality,



Maintenance, Planning & Logistics.
- Plan manpower, materials and resources to meet production and logistics plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and drive risk-reduction measures.
- Act as the senior site person during non-normal working hours and first point of contact for operational issues.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Solid batch process manufacturing experience.
- Experience in specialty chemicals / petrochemicals / chemicals.
- Strong shift operations + team handling experience.
- Exposure to SHE, OEE, permits-to-work, risk assessment and emergency handling.
- Ability to take independent operational decisions.
- Good coordination with Maintenance, Quality, HSE and Planning/Logistics.
