Responsible for supervising day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the Miththam property, ensuring all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, equipment, landscaping and general facility systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Facility Maintenance
* Inspect the entire property daily and identify maintenance issues.
* Ensure the venue, guest areas, service areas and back-of-house facilities are maintained properly.
* Attend to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements.
* Ensure the property is event-ready before every function.
* Ensure closing and damages are reported after the event.
2. Electrical Systems
* Monitor electrical panels, DBs, lighting, switches, sockets and wiring.
* Coordinate repairs for electrical breakdowns.
* Check generators, UPS systems and other backup power systems.
* Monitor electricity consumption and identify wastage.
3. Plumbing & Water Systems
* Monitor water supply, pumps, tanks and drainage systems.
* Attend to leakage, blockage and plumbing complaints.
* Ensure adequate water availability during events.
* Schedule regular cleaning of water tanks and related systems.
4. HVAC & Equipment
* Supervise maintenance of air-conditioning systems and ventilation.
* Coordinate AMC/service visits for major equipment.
* Maintain preventive-maintenance schedules.
* Ensure kitchen, event and facility equipment is functioning properly.
5. Preventive Maintenance
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checklists.
* Conduct regular inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns.
* Maintain records of repairs, servicing and equipment condition.
* Follow up on pending maintenance issues.
6. Team Supervision
* Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, technicians, housekeeping/support staff and outsourced workers.
