Planning / Civil Engineering / Architecture or equivalent (MBA/Management qualification will

be preferred)

Position Summary

Role Overview

The Sector Head – Urban Planning & Infrastructure will lead the overall Urban Planning &

Infrastructure practice, providing strategic, technical and operational leadership for the

sector domestically & internationally. The role involves driving sector excellence & growth,

overseeing project delivery, mentoring multidisciplinary teams, strengthening client

relationships, and ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of developments in

urban planning, infrastructure and smart city initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead and strengthen the overall Urban Planning & Infrastructure practice, defining the

sector's strategic direction and growth roadmap (domestically & internationally).





 Provide technical leadership and oversight across all urban planning and infrastructure

projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery and adherence to best practices.

 Monitor project performance, resolve critical technical issues and support project

teams in successful execution.

 Stay abreast of emerging policies, urban development programmes, technologies,

funding mechanisms and industry trends to identify current opportunities and enhance

organizational capabilities.

 Guide & drive Business Development team by providing sector insights, technical

inputs and client engagement support during pursuits and proposals.

 Build and mentor a high-performing multidisciplinary technical team, driving

capability development and knowledge sharing.

 Represent the organization in high-level meetings, conferences and interactions with

government agencies, clients, urban local bodies and development partners.
