Role & responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate daily production activities across fabrication, assembly, painting, and finishing sections
- Ensure production targets are met as per the schedule set by the Production Manager
- Track raw material and component availability on the floor; raise material requisitions in time to avoid stoppages
- Maintain quality checks at each stage of production welding, assembly, surface finishing and flag non-conformances
- Record daily production data including units completed, material consumed, rework, and downtime
- Assist in onboarding and guiding shop-floor workers on assembly procedures and quality standards
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety norms at all times (5S)
- Coordinate with stores and procurement team for timely availability of parts and consumables
- Support the Production Manager in preparing production reports and status updates




- Follow up on pending jobs, rework items, and dispatch readiness of finished units

Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
- 13 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (freshers with strong internship experience may apply)
- Basic knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal work, assembly, or painting processes
- Good observation skills and attention to detail for quality monitoring
- Ability to work on the shop floor and coordinate with workers and supervisors
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel for maintaining production records
- Willingness to work in a factory workplace in Kachchh, Gujarat
