ABOUT THE ROLE

A Bike Mechanic Engineer is responsible for checking, testing, and certifying bikes to make sure they’re safe, compliant, and road-worthy before sale, use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Inspect frame integrity (cracks, welds, alignment)
- Check brakes, suspension, steering, wheels, engine
- Inspect drivetrain (chain, gears, sprockets)
- Verify torque settings and fasteners
- Test electrical systems (e-bikes: battery, motor, wiring)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Perform road or bench tests
- Document inspection results and issue pass/fail reports




- Recommend repairs or replacements

KEY REQUIREMENT
- 4-8 years of Strong mechanical knowledge of bikes or motorcycles
- Understanding of materials (aluminium, carbon fiber, steel)
- Ability to read technical drawings/specs
- Familiarity with inspection tools (callipers, torque wrenches, gauges)
- Attention to detail (tiny faults matter )
- Problem-solving and clear reporting
- Basic electrical knowledge (for e-bikes or contemporary motorcycles)
