We are looking for an experienced ARC Welder to perform welding operations for vehicle components and assemblies. The candidate should have good knowledge of ARC welding, welding equipment, and safety procedures and should be able to maintain the required quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ARC welding on vehicle frames, components, and other metal parts as per production requirements.
- Carry out welding work according to drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Ensure proper welding quality, alignment, strength, and finishing.
- Operate welding machines and related tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect welded joints and identify welding defects.
- Perform necessary rework to meet quality standards.
- Complete assigned welding work within the production schedule.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Use appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working setting.
- Maintain proper housekeeping at the workstation.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams regarding welding-related issues.
- Report machine, material, or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Follow instructions given by the Production Supervisor and complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant technical qualification preferred.
1-4 years of relevant welding experience.
Good knowledge of ARC welding techniques.
Ability to understand basic drawings and measurements.
