Job Description
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
and digital health technologies are transforming healthcare by enabling creative solutions that enhance health system efficiency, service delivery, and patient outcomes, contributing to the achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and the health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Government of Chhattisgarh has formally requested WHO-SEARO's technical support to develop and implement a roadmap for UHC and health-related SDGs in the state. This collaboration was advanced through the Joint Consultative Meeting for the Development and Implementation of UHC and Health SDG Roadmaps in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal, April 2026) and the Swasth Chhattisgarh Consultation (Raipur, June 2026). Digital health and AI constitute a cross-cutting enabler of the state's UHC acceleration agenda, with implementation to be intensified in designated beacon districts alongside statewide efforts.
