Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Quality Control
Quality Assurance
- Implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and quality management systems.
- Review method statements, WPS/PQR, procedures, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
- Monitor implementation of approved quality procedures at site.
Quality Control
- Conduct inspections of mechanical works including:
- Static equipment installation
- Rotating equipment installation
- Piping fabrication and erection
- Structural supports related to mechanical systems
- Tanks, vessels, and heat exchangers
- Pressure testing activities
- Verify materials received at site against approved material specifications and inspection requirements.
- Ensure proper preservation and storage of mechanical materials and equipment.
- Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, leak, flushing, and performance tests.
