Job Description : Territory Manager Agency
We are looking for an experienced Territory Manager Agency to drive business growth through the Agency Channel for our general insurance business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth and achieve sales targets through the Agency Channel.
- Recruit, onboard and activate current insurance agents/advisors within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing agents and channel partners.
- Identify opportunities to expand the agency network and improve business productivity.
- Drive agent engagement, activation and retention to ensure consistent business generation.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and implement action plans to improve productivity.
- Conduct regular field visits and support agents in generating and converting business opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication of products, processes,
campaigns and business initiatives to agents.
- Track territory-level business performance and provide regular updates to management.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and customer servicing.
- Identify market opportunities and strengthen the company's presence across the assigned territory.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines and business processes.
Candidate Profile
- Candidates with relevant General Insurance Agency Channel experience will be preferred.
- Should have hands-on experience in agent recruitment, activation, development and business generation.
- Strong understanding of the insurance agency distribution model.
- Good communication, relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Strong target orientation and business development mindset.
