Job Description

Supervise employees during shift and make sure that they complete their tasks and are motivated to work effectively.

Responsible for the operation of an assigned area in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, technical, safety, and human resources, whilst respecting the defined goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Full understanding of design and production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work

Coordinating daily production schedules to meet output targets and deadlines, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.

Ensuring that products meet quality standards by monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working workplace, conducting safety training, and addressing any hazards.

Identifying and resolving production issues or equipment malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Documenting production metrics, incidents, and employee performance, and reporting this information to upper management.





Onboarding new employees and providing ongoing training to existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies.

Analysing production processes and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity.

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all company policies and procedures and ensuring they are followed during the shift.

Preparing detailed shift reports that include staff performance, any incidents, and resource usage.

Achieve the required company quality standards ensuring both internal

and external customer satisfaction

Through the utilisation of lean manufacturing techniques, strive to exceed

the Company targets in productivity, efficiency and quality on a continuous

basis
