- Ability to apply and direct the use of data science techniques to analyse complex datasets, build predictive models, leverage LLMs, and extract actionable insights to support pricing decision-making
- Extensive knowledge of statistical methods, preferably including generalised linear modelling, and machine learning techniques, and the ability to shape and manage their use in a highly numerate environment
- Ability to lead the development of scalable and maintainable solutions for data manipulation, automation, scripting and developing via Python and SQL
- Experience in building predictive models in VertexAI, and utilising Googles tools such as Gemini to leverage better understanding of data
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage the interpretation of complex data and its distillation into transparent, actionable insights that support decision-making across the business
- Ability to coach and develop colleagues to high performance and to deliver the most efficient use of resources
- Extensive experience of communicating technical concepts to a range of audiences, up to and including senior management
