About the Role

We're looking for an experienced
IBM watsonx.governance Architect
to support a large-scale
AI Governance and Responsible AI initiative
for a Fortune 500 client.

This is an
enterprise architecture-focused role
responsible for designing the client's overall
watsonx.governance architecture
, with a strong focus on
IBM OpenPages
and its integration within the broader Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) ecosystem.

You'll work across technology, AI/ML, risk, compliance, security, and business teams to define the
current-state and future-state architecture
, establish governance patterns, and develop scalable solutions for enterprise AI governance.

The ideal candidate has robust
enterprise architecture experience with IBM watsonx.governance
and
hands-on IBM OpenPages experience
in GRC environments.

What You'll Do
- Define and architect the
enterprise IBM watsonx.governance solution
- Design the overall
AI governance architecture
, frameworks, and governance patterns
- Architect and support the integration of
IBM OpenPages




within the broader AI governance ecosystem
- Define current-state and target-state architecture for AI/ML governance
- Design governance capabilities covering
model inventory, risk, controls, compliance, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Architect integrations between watsonx.governance, OpenPages,
MLOps, data, cloud, security, and enterprise platforms
- Define APIs, workflows, data flows, and integration patterns
- Translate business, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements into scalable technical architecture
- Partner with enterprise architects, data scientists, ML engineers, security teams, risk/compliance teams, and business stakeholders
- Provide architectural direction and technical guidance to implementation teams
- Develop architecture diagrams, solution designs, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate AI governance processes
