- Role & Designation: Power Train Calibration Manager (Location: Chennai | Experience: 1415+ Years).
- Core Domain Focus: Requires expertise in Powertrain (PWT) Calibration (Tuning Engineer & Calibration Specialist roles), performance tuning, and system validation.
- Project & Lifecycle Governance: Lead QCT (Quality, Cost, Timeline) objectives for tuning adaptation and validation across pre-project, active development, and serial life for engine/gearbox lineups (domestic and export).
- Validation & Test Management: Confirm validation requirements and test standards, secure test track and facility approvals, manage equipment/fuel logistics, and merge multi-stakeholder calibrations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive technical convergence across PWT Engineering, Vehicle Testing, Performance, Mechanical, and Software teams to achieve project milestones.
- Key Deliverables: Manage technical definitions (NDL), resource/prototype planning, economic scoreboards, calibration MAP synthesis,
and maturity reviews across project stages.
- Process & Compliance Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to product safety, regulatory standards, development processes (e.g., ANPQP), and internal quality engagements (EQM).
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automobile, or Mechatronics preferred; other streams accepted with relevant hands-on experience).
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 15 years in PWT control systems (SW/Calibration/Validation) with at least 5 years as a Lead Calibrator for engine/gearbox applications (or 2–3 years leading customer projects at a Tier-1 supplier).
- Technical Expertise & Soft Skills: Deep knowledge of PWT control SW, inter-system architecture (PWT to E/E), drivability, and NVH regulation trends, supported by robust analytical, persuasive, and communication skills.
