Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Back Office Executive – Quotations to handle the preparation of quotations and commercial proposals for laboratory, scientific and industrial equipment.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer enquiries and tender requirements, identifying technically suitable products, coordinating with existing and new vendors, obtaining and comparing vendor prices, matching technical specifications, preparing accurate quotations and catalogues, and providing complete quotation packages to the Tender/Sales Team for submission.
This is a full-time back-office position requiring strong product understanding, vendor coordination,
internet research, MS Excel/Word skills and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities1. Quotation Preparation
- Prepare accurate and skilled quotations against customer enquiries, tenders and purchase requirements.
- Study enquiry/tender specifications carefully and identify the exact product or suitable equivalent.
- Select appropriate products/models from available vendor/OEM product ranges.
- Calculate and prepare costing, margins, taxes, freight, installation and other commercial components as required.
- Ensure quotations are complete, error-free and submitted internally within the required timeline.
2. Technical Specification Matching
- Thoroughly study technical specifications, BOQs and product requirements received from customers and government tenders.
- Match required specifications line-by-line with available products from vendors/OEMs.
