The product architect will provide the technology thought leadership to shape the strategic direction, and roadmaps for technology programs and associated product families for Vanguards Workplace Technology Group. With a clear focus on AI and Deep Analytics ecosystem product families,
the role will entail defining the reference and application architectures for strategic business technology programs with a hands-on development approach.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the definition of product roadmaps and architecture for a product family, according to business strategies and enterprise architecture.
- Collaborates with the broader architecture community to ensure that their products align with target architectures and technology roadmaps and provides input on required platform capabilities and improving development tools/processes.
- Works with other product teams, technology experts, and business stakeholders to provide functional support.
- Assists in the evaluation of vendors and products and participates in build vs. buy discussions with the product teams.
- Acts as highest-level technical expert, resolving issues, assessing any potential risks and identifying solutions.
