Job Overview:
The Senior Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall architecture of our IT systems to support the organization's current and future needs. The Senior Architect will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, systems integration, and software development, with the ability to analyze complex problems and design creative solutions. He/she will be responsible for providing strategic direction, designing complex IT solutions, and mentoring junior architects. This architect will be responsible for designing enterprise data models, defining metadata and governance standards, analyzing data quality issues, implementing MDM matching and survivorship strategies, evaluating emerging technologies, and enabling AI-driven automation across the enterprise data ecosystem. Working closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Stewards, and Business SMEs, the architect will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions that improve data quality, governance, discoverability, and business value.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the organization's IT architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Serve as the hands-on technical architect and subject matter expert for Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management, Data Catalog, and AI-enabled data management platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data architecture standards, canonical data models, metadata frameworks, and governance practices that promote trusted, discoverable, and reusable data assets.
- Lead technical design and configuration of MDM solutions, including data modeling, matching, survivorship, hierarchy management, and integration patterns across critical business domains.
