Business Development Executive, (Inspections) India

Silq is a tech-enabled freight forwarding and quality inspection company helping North American importers manage global supply chains.

About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated and field-oriented Executive to help Silq build its presence on the ground in India. This is an early-career, high-activity role focused on getting in front of retail and apparel suppliers across India — understanding their operations, identifying inspection opportunities, and bringing Silq's quality inspection services to market. You'll be out in the field regularly, building relationships and mapping the supplier landscape. You'll report to the Director, Inspections APAC for Silq India.

What You'll Do
- Market Mapping: Systematically identify and map retail and apparel suppliers across key manufacturing hubs in India . Build and maintain a structured database of supplier contacts, categories, and potential inspection volumes.
- Field Sales & Outreach:



Actively reach out to and visit suppliers in-person; pitch Silq's in office quality inspection services and build relationships with procurement and quality teams at supplier factories and offices.
- Inspection Sales: Drive adoption of Silq's inspection services among India-based suppliers; understand client requirements, explain service offerings clearly, and convert leads into active inspection bookings.
- Buyer Intelligence: Where possible, gather and share details on North American buyers sourcing from the suppliers you engage with — this information helps Silq's broader sales team identify new business opportunities.
- Pipeline Reporting: Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, supplier interactions, and sales pipeline; provide regular updates to the Director on progress and market insights.
