About ChaHe

ModeChaHe Mode LLP is a Bengaluru-based women’s fashion brand creating contemporary western wear, including dresses, tops, skirts, corsets, and statement garments. The brand is building its in-house design, sampling, and small-batch production capability with a strong focus on original designs, fit, fabric, craftsmanship, and finishing.

Our designs evolve continuously, so team members are expected to be detail-oriented, open to learning, and able to adapt to new cuts, patterns, fabrics, and garment-construction techniques. We are looking for skilled professionals who want to contribute directly to taking a design from concept to finished garment.

Role OverviewChaHe Mode is looking for a skilled Women’s Western Wear Tailor / Sample Tailor with 2–5 years of experience in boutique tailoring, designer wear, western-wear stitching, garment sampling, or small-batch production.

The candidate must be comfortable stitching complete garments and should understand different stitching techniques, garment constructions, fabric behaviours, and finishing methods. Experience with corsets, bustiers, structured bodices, dresses, skirts, tops, and layered garments is important, along with the ability to learn and adopt new designs quickly.

Key

Responsibilities· Stitch complete women’s western-wear garments according to approved patterns, measurements, and design instructions.

· Stitch dresses, tops, skirts, corsets, bustiers, structured bodices, layered garments, and designer garments.

· Work on different corset constructions, including underbust, overbust, bustier-style, panelled, lace-up, boned, and corset-inspired garments.

· Understand and stitch different cuts and silhouettes, including A-line, princess cut, bias cut,



empire cut, bodycon, fit-and-flare, asymmetric, panel cut, circular, mermaid, layered, and straight cuts.

· Handle straight stitching, overlock, hemming, piping, binding, gathering, pleating, topstitching, elastic insertion, boning channels, cup attachment, lining, and other required techniques.

· Attach concealed zips, regular zips, hooks, buttons, loops, lace-up closures, eyelets, elastic, ties, collars, cuffs, sleeves, facings, waistbands, and related garment components.

· Work with cotton, crepe, georgette, chiffon, satin, organza, net, denim, lining, and other fashion fabrics.

· Develop first samples in coordination with the Cutting Master and founder and support fit trials and design corrections.

· Follow seam allowances, notches, garment measurements, and construction instructions accurately.

· Ensure neat finishing inside and outside the garment, with balanced panels, even seams, correct stitch tension, and clean detailing.

· Reproduce approved samples consistently during small-batch production.

· Continuously learn and adopt new stitching methods and garment-construction techniques required for new ChaHe Mode designs.

Required

Skills & Candidate Profile· 2–5 years of relevant experience in women’s western wear, boutique tailoring, designer wear, garment sampling, or small-batch production.





· Strong knowledge of complete garment stitching and assembly sequence.

· Hands-on experience stitching corsets, bustiers, structured bodices, dresses, tops, skirts, and fashion garments.

· Ability to stitch accurately from patterns, sketches, sample garments, reference images, or design instructions.

· Good knowledge of industrial sewing machines and overlock machines.

· Understanding of garment measurements, fit corrections, lining, structure, and finishing.

· Ability to work with regular as well as delicate and slippery fabrics.

· Willingness to learn unfamiliar designs, cuts, construction methods, and finishing techniques.

· Patient, quality-conscious, responsible, and comfortable with sample trials and corrections.

· Formal tailoring, fashion-design, garment-construction, or apparel-production training is preferred but not mandatory when practical skill is robust.

· Salary: Up to ₹15,000 per month, based on skill, experience, and practical trial.

· Experience Required: 2–5 years.
