Design Engineers

Required Educational Level and Certificates:

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
Master Degree in Structural Engineering (desirable)

Required Experience:
Min. 2 years in the design of steel buildings\/Structures.
Min. 6 months of PEB design experience.

Required Professional Knowledge:
Able to produce secure and optimum structural designs, connection designs, detailed design drawings, calculations and comprehensive estimates for steel buildings. Proficient in Staad (Structural Analysis and Design software), AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel. Hands on experience and knowledge of Indian codes (IS 875, IS 1893, IS 800) and American Code AISC, AISI, ASCE. Knowledge in software like SAP, ETABS and MBS (Metal Building System) are desirable.

Communicate with customer \/ consultant for clarifications and understanding customer requirements.
Suggest simplest and economical solutions that meet such requirements, in line with company standards.
Analyze and design the building structural elements and connections optimally, fulfilling applicable codes and customer requirements. Prepare Quote Estimate, Design Package, Drawings and Final estimate.
Work closely with other design engineers, draftsmen and detailing engineers to ensure the design is error free and all design\/detailing requirements are incorporated, in line with company standards, production facilities and inventory. }
