Position: Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in procurement of architectural, building, or construction glass materials. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, purchase order processing, price negotiations, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely procurement of glass products to support project and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Procure various types of glass products including float glass, toughened glass, laminated glass, insulated glass units (IGU), decorative glass, and related accessories.

Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution.

Coordinate with project, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.

Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.

Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.





Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Resolve supply-related issues and expedite urgent material requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.

Conduct periodic vendor evaluations and support vendor development initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of glass products and building material procurement.

Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

Understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP systems, and procurement software.

Robust analytical, communication, and coordination abilities.

Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related
