Job Description
We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in procurement for plumbing, fire-fighting or MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for timely procurement of project materials while ensuring competitive pricing, quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end purchase of plumbing, fire-fighting and MEP materials.
- Source vendors, obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices.
- Prepare Purchase Orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with project/site, stores and accounts teams for material requirements.
- Ensure materials are procured as per BOQ, specifications and project requirements.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs and vendor details.
- Develop new vendors and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
- Resolve issues related to quality, pricing and delivery.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in MEP, plumbing, fire-fighting or construction.
- Good knowledge of plumbing and fire-fighting materials.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management and quotation comparison skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Experience with ERP/purchase software is an advantage.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
