Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain our internal billing workflow platforms VB.NET WinForms desktop application - a critical service in our monthly billing workflow system processing all our monthly client billings before getting invoiced. This is a primary day-to-day responsibility.
- Work directly with SQL Server: write and optimize T-SQL, stored procedures, and SQL Server Agent jobs
- Contribute to the development of current features, system enhancements, and performance optimization initiatives as part of the platforms ongoing in-place modernization effort
- Contribute to execution of the platforms future migration to a contemporary web-based architecture,



helping implement target architecture (e.g., ASP.NET Core/Blazor) under the guidance of senior engineers and BI leadership.
- Write and maintain automated tests; grow test coverage from its current thin baseline.
- Participate in code reviews and follow the teams established coding standards, style guide, and code-audit protocol
- Collaborate with BI, Analyst, Processing, and Submission team stakeholders to translate billing workflow requirements into robust technical solutions
- Assist with technical design discussions for both the current system and its future state, under the guidance of senior engineers
- Leverage Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Qualifications
- Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or equivalent).
- 3-5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Hands-on experience with VB.NET .NET Framework requir
