About Centre for Sustainable Energy and Mobility

C-SEM remains focussed in solving challenges associated with sustainable energy and mobility within the Indian context. We closely work with government agencies, policy makers, private enterprises and other stakeholders to suggest policy recommendations that are impactful, practical, implementable, operable, and commercially self-sustainable. The centre is currently actively engaged in several exciting projects and policy research activities in areas of zero emission mobility, electrification in Industries and bioenergy including CBG and Bio-Green Hydrogen.

Key Responsibilities
- Research on projects related to clean mobility.
- Complete project tasks according to the set timelines
- Use tools such as data analysis, scenario modelling, or policy simulation for research
- Produce publications including policy briefs, research reports,



and peer-reviewed articles
- Coordinate with external collaborators including government stakeholders, industry partners, and other stakeholders
- Represent C-SEM at external forums, workshops, and conferences

Requirements
- Bachelor’s in energy studies, economics, engineering and technical studies, public policy, or environmental science.
- Solid quantitative and/or qualitative research skills; experience in mobility domain, lifecycle assessment, risk assessment, modelling tools, GIS, or statistical software is an asset
- Proven ability to work in a team and take research outputs to completion
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Preferred
- Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience in energy systems, mobility planning, transport electrification, or climate policy will be preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting primary surveys, questionnaire designing, applied
