Key Responsibilities

1. Legal & Contract Management

a. Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various hospital agreements, contracts, MOUs, and legal documents.

b. Manage agreements with doctors/consultants, vendors, suppliers, diagnostic partners, insurance/TPA companies, corporates, service providers, and other stakeholders.

c. Review commercial and operational contracts to identify legal, financial, and compliance risks.

d. Maintain a centralized database and tracking system for all hospital agreements, renewals, expiries, amendments, and obligations.

e. Provide legal advice to management and hospital departments on day-to-day operational matters.

2. Hospital Regulatory Compliance

a. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, hospital, labour, consumer protection, data protection, and other statutory requirements.

b. Monitor changes in laws, regulations, notifications, and healthcare guidelines affecting hospital operations.

c. Develop and maintain a hospital-wide legal and compliance calendar.

d. Track statutory licenses, registrations, permits, renewals,



and regulatory filings.

e. Support compliance with requirements applicable to hospital operations, including clinical, pharmacy, biomedical waste, fire safety, labour, environmental, and other regulatory areas, as applicable.

f. Coordinate with regulatory authorities and support inspections, audits, notices, and compliance submissions.

3. Policies & Compliance Framework

a. Develop, review, and update hospital policies, SOPs, guidelines, and compliance procedures.

b. Conduct periodic compliance reviews and identify gaps across hospital departments.

c. Establish appropriate controls to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

d. Maintain documentation and evidence required for internal and external audits.

e. Conduct awareness sessions/training for employees on relevant legal and compliance requirements.

4. Risk Management & Dispute Handling
