Job Summary

MC Networks Payyampally is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to customers and support the company's network and connectivity services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving internet and network-related issues, assisting customers with technical problems, monitoring network performance, and coordinating with the technical team to ensure reliable and uninterrupted service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers through phone, WhatsApp, email, and other support channels.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, router, modem, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose problems related to LAN, WAN, IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and basic network configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and other networking equipment.
- Assist customers with installation, configuration, and basic maintenance of network equipment.
- Monitor network connectivity and identify service interruptions or performance issues.




- Respond quickly to customer complaints and technical support requests.
- Record customer issues and maintain accurate service/support records.
- Coordinate with field technicians for on-site troubleshooting and installations when required.
- Perform basic network testing and fault isolation.
- Support preventive maintenance and network equipment checks.
- Assist with current customer installations and service activation.
- Maintain proper documentation of network configurations and technical issues.
- Follow company procedures for customer service, network security, and data protection.
- Ensure customer issues are resolved within the required service time.

Required Technical Skills
- Good understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN and WAN.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, Wi-Fi and access points.
