Job Summary
Sattavaa Hospitality is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good numerical skills, basic computer knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. The cashier will be responsible for handling billing, payments, cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer billing and payment transactions accurately.
- Operate the restaurant POS and billing system.
- Process cash, card, UPI, and other payment methods.
- Generate and provide accurate bills to customers.
- Handle cash responsibly and maintain proper cash balance.
- Verify daily sales and payment collections.
- Maintain accurate records of cash and other transactions.
- Coordinate with the service and management teams regarding billing issues.
- Handle customer billing queries professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing cashier procedures.
- Prepare daily cash and sales reports as required.
- Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and billing.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS and billing systems.
- Good numerical and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Honest, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
