1) Material Receiving & Inspection

Receive electrical materials, tools, equipment, consumables and other items against approved Purchase Orders, delivery challans or authorized documents.

Verify quantity, item description, specifications, make/brand and physical condition of received material.

Coordinate with the concerned technical/project team for inspection or approval wherever required.

Report shortages, excess quantities, damage, wrong material or quality discrepancies to the reporting manager and concerned department.

Prepare and maintain proper Goods Receipt / Material Receipt records as applicable.

2) Material Storage & Preservation

Store materials systematically according to item category, project, size, specification and usage requirements.

Ensure proper identification, tagging, labeling and location marking of materials.

Maintain protected and clean storage conditions and protect materials from damage, moisture, dust, theft and deterioration.

Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable to avoid obsolete or damaged stock.

Ensure electrical items, cables,



tools and sensitive materials are stored as per their handling requirements.

3) Material Issue & Dispatch

Issue materials only against approved Material Requisition, Issue Slip, Site Request or authorized instruction.

Verify quantity and item details before issuing material to project/site teams.

Maintain proper records of all material issues, transfers and returns.

Coordinate with site/project teams for timely dispatch of required materials.

Ensure returned, unused or excess materials are properly received, verified and recorded.

4) Inventory & Stock Control

Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards, Excel records or ERP/system records as applicable.

Update inward, outward, transfer, return and adjustment transactions on a timely basis.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with book/system stock.

Identify slow-moving, non-moving, excess, obsolete
