Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design and develop 2D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD
- Design and modify biopharmaceutical process equipment
- Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and project teams to ensure manufacturability and timely project execution.
- Review customer specifications and convert technical requirements into practical design solutions.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection for mechanical components.
- Ensure designs comply with ASME, GMP, FDA, and other applicable industry standards where required.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
- Resolve manufacturing and assembly issues through engineering modifications.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
