About the Role

Cogniter Technologies is looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our mobile application development team in Chandigarh.

The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android UI development, application architecture, API integration, and performance optimization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications while ensuring excellent performance, reliability, security, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and performance-focused mobile application interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers,



and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable mobile solutions.
- Develop and maintain application components using Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Fragments, and XML layouts.
- Implement appropriate application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and MVP.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, third-party APIs, and external data sources.
- Implement and manage push notifications and cloud messaging services.
- Develop and maintain Bluetooth-based device communication using the Android SDK.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues related to functionality, performance, compatibility, and stability.
- Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and follow clean coding and Android development best practices.
- Research and evaluate new Android tools
