We are looking for an experienced and technically strong
Mechanical Engineer
to join our Coal Handling Plant (CHP) operations team.
Position:
Mechanical Engineer – CHP
Experience:
Minimum 5 Years in Coal Handling Plant
Qualification:
B.Tech / B.E. – Mechanical Engineering
Academic Requirement:
Minimum 70% marks
Joining:
Immediate / Short Notice Preferred
Key Technical Expertise Required
The candidate should have strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in CHP mechanical equipment, including:
✅ Conveyor Belt & Conveyor Systems
✅ Sizer
✅ Rock Breaker
✅ Feeder Breaker
✅ Plough Feeder
✅ Travelling Tripper
✅ Silo & associated equipment
✅ Chutes and material handling systems
✅ Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
Additional Skills
Good knowledge of
Conveyor Safety & Safe Maintenance Practices
Knowledge of
5S and workplace management
Good command of
MS Excel
Good knowledge of
MS PowerPoint (PPT)
Ability to prepare maintenance reports and presentations
Strong manpower coordination and maintenance supervision skills
Positive communication and problem-solving abilities
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
? Planning and supervising mechanical maintenance activities
? Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CHP equipment
? Ensuring maximum equipment availability and reliability
? Supervising maintenance manpower and contractors
? Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and 5S standards
? Preparing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports
? Identifying equipment problems and implementing corrective actions
? Coordinating with operations and other departments for smooth plant operation
