Roles and Responsibilities

Below activities shall be performed within stipulated time frame for Basic Detail Cable tray layout engineering.
- To work on E3D /Autodesk Revit / AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant Cable and Cable tray networks modelling.
- Generate General arrangement drawings for cable Tray layout erection drawing Trench layout.
- Pothead yard / Switchyard layout detailing.
- Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Schedule, Cable filling study Distribution Board Schedule.
- To review various vendor equipment drawings for layout interfaces requirements.
- Organizing the Design Review Meetings of Basic Detail design document.
- Generate clash check report from E3D resolve if any interference found.
- Preparation of Single Line Diagram (Power, lighting, UPS, Control)
- Knowledge of Earthing Lighting layouts.
- Prepare bill of material for various cable trays, cable tray supports release in PLM tool.
- Should interact with other department for various inputs/interface requirement keep the record.




- Interaction with customer/other COEs/Region for various discussion/meeting.
- To review customer civil structural design drawings, civil construction drawings.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E. Electrical Engineering
- Should be able to communicate/understand English language
- He/she should have minimum 12 to 15 yearsexperience on below activity.
- should have good knowledge of cad software, like E3D/Autodesk Revit/ AutoCAD, MS office, etc.
- Should have good knowledge about Cable Tray support engineering.
- He/she should have valuable knowledge about hydro power plant layout, equipment arrangement/layout should be good knowledge about plant network layout.
- Clash resolution.
- Site Support resolution.
- Cabling route definition Trays filling study.
- Project planning/scheduling, man-hours estimation, document checking.
