We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java/Kotlin Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, with expertise in building scalable applications using Java, Kotlin, and Maven-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Kotlin
- Build and manage projects using Maven
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Ensure high code quality with proper unit and integration testing
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
- Strong experience with Kotlin for backend or modern application development
- Expertise in Maven build tools
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot / Spring Framework
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience in high-scale or distributed systems
