A Field Officer for a security services company in Tamil Nadu is a ground-level supervisor. They spend most of their time traveling to different client locations to enforce discipline, manage guard operations, and handle daily emergencies. [1]Guard Discipline & Attendance
- Verify daily attendance: Visit sites daily to check if guards arrived on time for their shifts.
- Enforce uniform codes: Check that guards are clean-shaven and wearing proper uniforms, lanyards, caps, and safety shoes.
- Manage shift handovers: Ensure the outgoing shift briefs the incoming shift smoothly without leaving posts empty.
- Arrange backup manpower: Arrange immediate replacement guards from the buffer pool if a guard goes missing or takes sudden leave. [1]

Site Inspections & Audits
- Conduct night checks: Perform surprise night patrols to ensure guards are awake, alert, and monitoring the premises.
- Inspect register logs: Audit visitor books, vehicle entry logs, and material movement registers for accurate data.
- Test security equipment: Check if torches, metal detectors, walkie-talkies,

Training & Emergency Response
- Deliver in office briefings: Conduct daily "toolbox talks" regarding specific client requirements and safety rules.
- Train on fire safety: Educate guards on how to operate fire extinguishers and execute basic evacuation plans.
- Respond to incidents: Rush to the site immediately during medical emergencies, fights, theft, or trespassing.
- Report to management: Document any unusual incidents or discipline issues and report them directly to the Area Manager.

Local Liaison & Client Support
- Gather client feedback: Meet with the client's ground supervisors or facility managers to address daily complaints.
- Assist police verification: Help collect identity proofs and address documents from guards for local police verification.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
