Role: Infor XA / MAPICS AS400 Analyst

We are looking for a
hands-on Infor XA/MAPICS Systems Analyst
to support a manufacturing ERP environment running on
IBM i (AS400/iSeries)
.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for
Infor XA/MAPICS
and troubleshoot business/application issues.
- Perform daily
IBM i/AS400 health checks
, including jobs, queues, message queues, backups and system availability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot
CL/batch jobs
, held/single-threaded jobs and ERP processing issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot
RPG/RPGLE programs, user exits, custom tables and XA extensions
.
- Use
SQL/DB2
to investigate and correct data-quality issues and provide ad-hoc reports/data extracts.




- Support business users with transaction/process issues and perform manual corrections/reprocessing when required.
- Investigate custom ERP issues and coordinate with
Infor Support
when necessary.
- Support existing integrations and surrounding technologies such as
PowerLink/CabNet
.
- Maintain and enhance legacy applications and provide knowledge transfer/documentation.

Required Skills:
- Strong
Infor XA/MAPICS
experience.
- Robust
IBM i/AS400/iSeries
experience.
- Hands-on
RPG/RPGLE and CL/CLLE
.
- Strong
SQL/DB2 for i
experience.
- Production support, batch processing and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in
manufacturing/distribution ERP environments
.

Good to Have:
- Java, WebSphere, Apache
- PowerLink/CabNet
- Experience with XA customizations and legacy ERP environments.
