Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS and statutory safety requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures and secure work practices.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training and awareness programs.
- Monitor PPE compliance across the plant.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
- Maintain EHS records, registers, reports and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety and mock drills.
- Support implementation of environmental and occupational safety initiatives.
- Coordinate with departments to improve overall safety performance.
